Gentle Giant

I have known this mother black bear since she was a young cub, she survived many obstacles including being hit by a car as a yearling. I was ecstatic to find her with her first cub in the spring of 2019, here she was watching her cub a year later as the pair foraged on vegetation in the forest. She has taught me much about the true, gentle nature of bears, I hope she lives a long life and raises many generations of cubs.
